A day recently at the beach, shucking and munching oysters just nabbed off the rocks below. Needless to say, the shucking is always accompanied by reasonably copious amounts of wine sipping, until the oysters are all shucked and ready to slip-in beside. Nothing like a freshly caught giant South Coast oyster with a touch of Tabasco, a few drops of lemon and a bit of black pepper to accompany a really good wine. Life’s special little moments to cherish. Plenty more to come this year I fear!
